In a LAN network, IPs are handled differently. The gateway has a static IP to the rest of the LAN; the rest of the LAN generally uses dynamic IPs to talk to each other, because it doesn't matter as long as no 2 computers use the same IP. The gateway usually asks the ISP for an Internet IP, which is different from its LAN IP. I can't remember right off whether every LAN computer shares that IP or if they each somehow get their own sub-IP...in any case, you can go to whatsmpIP.com and it'll tell you what your IP looks like to the rest of the world. Or you can even read your IP in your player attributes on Graal. That'll definitely tell you what Graal considers your IP to be. |
