yep I hear you there:
look at what Sanstrata went through, those of you who were around when it was online last year. I confess to, back then, being a bit power hungry at times. Once, there were more than 30 rc's all in use, one rc per person. There is just no need for that many staff on a server to have rc access.
Knowing how to deal with people - to never complain or critisize, and also to never give empty falttery, but look on the positive but honest side of things is a big part when dealing with many kinds of people.
Also, telling hackers to stop hacking is not going to work, not in that way. A leader must offer them an alternative that looks to be, and is, more pleasing then their current actions, so that they will stop hacking and spend their time on what benefits you both.
Owning a playerworld does have a learnign curve, I made my share of misatekes, so will you, in time. Its just a lot easaier to learn from the mistakes others have made and know what to do or not to do, than it is to make your own mistakes and suffer losses, learning the hard way. But the latter is what most folks end up doing. ok im rambling so il stop now |
