Since you are
supposed to be using RC for work on a server and
not a chat program it is not private. If you want private conversations then use a PM that is what they are for. RC Chat is a public device for use of Staff members to do their job, nothing said there is "private" other than it is for Staff use and not player use so what is said there is for Staff to see and not players but this does not mean in any stretch of the imagination that it is a "private " chat in the same sense as a PM. (
