It sounds great that people are still working to revive old G2k1.

Personally, I think kingdoms would be just fine on G2k1 if it is not the main part of the game. For example, only having people RP during events.

It seems people only RP during events on GK anyways, but it obviousely looks like RPing is best to do most of the time (like Valikorlia) because of the shape of the overworld (the shape being based on kingdoms).

But on G2k1, you were able to spend all your time with no RPing, and you wouldn't miss anything except the experience itself. However, GK requires it (must be in a kingdom to have a house...must RP to be in a kingdom...) in order to be a success as a "competing" player.
