Well, nobody is going to be under any obligation to complete any exercises. But regardless, the lessons probably won't involve complete scripts; they'll be more about explaining the fragments that make up those scripts. The intention is that people will - under the proper guidance - be able to construct their own scripts once they understand these building blocks.
And then in the advanced lessons we might talk about multiple approaches to a problem, simple-but-underused concepts like precalculation etc.
