I'd say you're right. When translations were open about two years ago, Unixmad gave anyone who translated a pay-to-play account.
He could just go to
www.altavista.com and use the Babelfish translatior or
www.dictionary.com and use their more accurate translator. I remember Stefan put a direct link to the Babelfish translator on PMs a while back, but I'm not quite sure what happened to that. Maybe they didn't like the direct linking. o_O
