Such people - be it hackers, kiddies or any other kind of bored person, tend to devote the more attention to you the more attention you devote to them. Whoever it is that threatened you, he'll be laughing about this threat as a sign that you're afraid enough of him to kinda ask for help or something. Just ignore them. When he does something illegal, you can take reasonable action, but as it is now, I'd rather say you did what he intented
