1600 overworld is not bad. Try 2048  Main area is 64x32 with ~5 supplemental areas that are 32x32. My focus is the main area. My extra locations will come later after I've released my main world.
This map is 18:100 scale from the original.

If i find the map too small i will creat a 2nd world map with another island and link them togeter.
Have you started on your graphics yet for your playerworld ?
