Two glitches I found-

When you get a wolf to follow you, your name doesn't appear beneath it to show it is your follower.

Also, if monsters are following you, and you play the "Song of Stop" .. they will try to kill you ..

This happened to me with wolves, I'm not sure if it works with all monsters, but it probably does!
