Pubs, this has been suggested.
There could be like NPCs that tell of rumors which lead to quests.
"I heard that a strange monster has been spotted in the dungeons recently, they say it looks like a T-Rex but it's gold, and blinds all those who encounter it, only one person has seen it and lived to tell the tale, but if you wish to fight it, be careful" or something, you know?
Then there could be a wall where people post bounty on other players, or selling/buying signs, etc. |
