As it stands now, some servers were made to go public before they were ready, and will probably fail....while others are allowed to remain in private that have been there a long time.

I belive the time was judged on how much the PWs have improved. PWA staff came on and looked around, if they felt it was impoving then of course more time is an obvious thing to do as it will be worth it on release.
Other PWs that have not improved as much were opened early as it was obvious they were not going to improve enough no matter how much time they have.
And about Koni its like NW (they process not the server) as Stefan feels it is good enough and could/probably will be a gold server so he isnt rushing it.
And what medieval period? He was saying things about Rudora not DK
