Dude. Its something that comes naturally to me. My "Image Sniffer(tm)" is a joke which means that what I look at, I can usually point out references or similarities to images I've seen before. Even if it has been over a very lengthy period of time such as a year or more. I knew that some people figured out my little joke. But to be honest, I know nothing of any kind of application that would available for public use that can determine similarities between two different images. It is not impossibe, just very improbable. Also, a photographic memory of sorts plays a large role in this as well.
I may not be very skilled at making sprites, but I sure as heck can make out patterns and similarities to other like images I've seen.
