Hatching an Egg in the house

Someone told me that a bug was involved with this, and that a patch made it so that pets cant be hatched inside houses.
I recently got a pet, and hatched it in my house.
Has the bug been fixed, or did the server screw me over and let me hatch the egg in my house? |
