Bullet-type spells are great, although I think my idea in my last post (above) should definitely be implemented (Shrimp also spoke about this, many agree!) .. but spread spells -- not the cones (icestorm, burning hands) .. although mana blast is bad now -- are terrible now. The only one that's of any use is create bomb, and that's much more because it shoots out those four splints upon detonation. The explosion afterward makes little difference (trust me on this, I ONLY use magic, thrown in with a bit of karate). Create bomb is too small .. all spreads are.
Medium snowstorm used to be .. medium! Now .. it's .. very ..
very .. tiny. It's the same size as small snowstorm. Let's not forget that none of them do damage anymore (nothing noticable anyway), since the radius is so small! I cast a medium snowstorm on a T-rex just before. Now, I know, even before this change, it wouldn't have done much .. but this time it did NOTHING. Not very impressive, in my opinion.
I think the bullet-type spells are okay, mostly, but spreads are bad. Oh, one last thing. Along with the idea up above .. magic bullets need auto-targeting! Maybe, at lower levels, it's not as effective .. and the auto-targeting gets better as you level. That's fine! .. but it's needed! Stefan, here's what I propose to you: Throw on your wizard hat, whip out your wand, head to the battle arena, and bring your high level barbarian friend along. He'll zoom around you, slashing into you, destroying you like a Texan eats a hamburger (oh hohoho, it's a joke). You'd be lucky if you got one cast in .. and even LUCKIER if anything hit. Go ahead, try to drag that little box onto his zooming body. You can't. If you do, I applaud you, but chances are you can't. You'll die before you lock on.
That's my two cents .. and I'm also adding one other thing above, which is also very important.
