That really isn't a flaw, and they can interact on a fair basis to me it is fair that if someone spends 450 hours online they should naturally be more adept at fighting than someone who spent 10 hours. You cannot expect someone who has not trained at all in combat to be equal to a general of a kingdom who has trained his whole life, it just doesn't make good sense. It also adds to the Role play since a peasant rebel can't just go up to a general of an army and be equal to him on the whole fighting skill basis. It just isn't logical unless that peasant has trained constantly and is an undercover spy for another army thus said is a different circumstance anway.

Equipment should be earned I agree with you there Juron, I think Level requirements on weapons and armor need to be in place so things are earned.

Or if things are handed out at tournaments they should have the account name on them so that person can't give it to a newbie. I know your like well they should sell it! no they shouldn't it is a rare item that was earned by that player and by that player selling it to another player means another player gets that rare item only because they have alot of money to spare which they did not win the tournament they just saved money, which is unfair to everyone else because they want it and they have money. That part--> is my opinion if you don't like it you can kiss my patooey =)
