There are communities on IRC too, but that doesn't make them into fun gaming environments. The playercount is low because it doesn't interest people. The problem is that people don't play playerworlds with low playercounts, so a vicious circle emerges where the cause of the problem is the problem itself. The solution is to make a world
that doesn't rely on social factors. It has to be fun to play alone, because you can guarantee that a large number of people
are going to play it alone. Only when you can sustain the interest of single-players can you hope to have a consistently high population.
