All they would have to do is walk at right angles to the direction of the push/pull..... like if you're being pushed south, walk east. And watch the bully stumble into the cute-pink-fuzzy-bunny-jaws-of-death.
AFK could be a problem, though.... but, just hide when going AFK. Jump into the water or something.
