Cody, this is a tip for you....
First off, you need to be good at something, experienced.
Experience do you need for hiring staff, doing decsions, how to use RC and how making map.... This is just exampels.
You also need to see whats good and whats not good.
Your server have a limit of good staff you want, to get good staff you must have good stuff to show.
If not nobody will trust you and think the server will have a chance.
I learned level making by looking at other people and learning what they said.
Alot of people helped me with levels, Spark, Knuckles and Zell.
They have told me what i have to learn and how you use tiling.
Exampel: You dont place bushes all around, you make bushes at some spots, in like groups.
Start a server when you realy feel ready. Good Luck
