Deal with it. Earning all your lost exp back is easy (unless you are a crazzy lvl 10-12). Maybe there should go down to a lower percentage of exp loss if you are at a high level.

I don't understand this though. In 2K1 when you lost 30 gralat (hour or more worth of work) when you die very few people cared. Well not enough to post about it or get all angry. (well except bad fighters who don't want to "damage their record" and pause....if you don't want to look like a bad fighter DON'T FIGHT BAD but that is a rant on itself).

How can a level 1 kill a level 10? A level 6-7 has no chance of killing a level 10.
