Well, you can't expect for barbarians who make al the god damn money with their scrolls, like Jewler, Shopping, and Woodlore to just expect to walk into a room full of eashy gloops, smokey's, and hievils and just expect to start killing them.
Magi' folk have to buy ID scrolls which cost 10-16 plat depending on their charm. Sometimes it doesn't even ID them. And they got to buy more. Magi' also burn all the items they get, except certian spells which do a max of about 10 damage, or the create bomb which burns sometimes.
