to have good system performance, you need
almost everything to be "good" or at least decent, because if you have the newest of all things that you mentioned and only a 25 MHz CPU, the components would be underused/wasted.. the same theory would apply to if for example, you had 512 KB video memory with no support for the common video technology, or a 100 RPM hard disk drive along with the rest of the components being "good"
