Well...... I think items should be able to be dropped on ships. Not quite the same thing. As far as storing items, since boats are so easily destroyed, and eventually sink, and as far as I can tell you can't reconnect on a boat, storing items on a ship would be rather...... dumb. Too easy to lose the items.

You have a point about this, but since people are SUPPOSED to be role-playing when wearing kingdom tags, this is sort of a no-no which should be enforced by kings. The advantage to the tag idea is that you can easily have kingdom battles on mainmap and startingisland as well as on kingdom islands.
