I have that problem at times and run Win98SE sometimes its Fast (which it should be with a AMD XP1600 cpu) amd sometimes I am slow and get my butt kicked. It is odd , haven't figured it out yet. I agree it may be a background program running , yet I cut the firewall off but leave the antivirus on unless Norton is causing it. Who all uses Norton that has this problem? Please post if you do use Norton. |
