*sigh* I'm really starting to get sick of people using helping(or doing a job) as an excuse for abuse of powers.
Dragon I have nothing against you seriously. I knew you before you were staff, hell I knew alot of current staff before they were staff.
(This isn't just about Dragon, it's to all the staff members who got their positions by "helping" people.) I've been playing graal for a long time now, and I've helped alot of people. I didn't calculate hours that I've helped people, that's rediculous. I helped people because I wanted to. Now on Graal all I see is people "helping" to get some kind of staff position. What about all of the people who were school teachers before you? I was one of the first school teachers when 2k2 first started(people still PM me questions). I never could warp and I never needed to. I answered questions, that was my job.
I stayed on for hours helping people even though I did not have to. Pir suddenly decided to fire all of us and hire new teachers, so I was out of a job, but I didn't complain. I kept answering questions anyway. I'm not saying that your not doing your job or anything, but alot of people have put alot of (reset) hours into helping people too, and they didn't warp all over the map either. People should not be warped to places, that's not really helping. Walking to someone to help them is something you do by choice, if you don't want to walk to them, then take the time to write detailed instructions. I myself have done it, so I know it's possible.
You do a good job of helping, just don't pat yourself on the back too hard. Others do a good job of helping too, and they don't have any special tools. 500 hours is not equal to over three years. That goes for all the other people that are giving themselves a little too much credit. There are alot of people in the background who get NO recognition what's so ever. |
