In my opinion, there is no need for classes at all... It's pretty silly, because a thief can still become a sorceror, warrior, archer, and priest. Just by reading skill scrolls.
That is basically the only thing that seperates each class, besides the +- stat effects the classes have. So what is the point in having classes at all, if there are really no restrictions as to what a player can achieve?
I'm a warrior, that can cast magic, and also cast holy spells, as I pray as well. I'm also an achemist and thief, and I can use woodsman like a barbarian. So what exactly am I missing out on from not being a different class? Nothing. But hey, I like not having class restrictions, so I'm definitely not complaining about it. |
