Im not sure how large Graal3d models are but making floor is easy really its the first thing you will learn so here it is
using your cursor make a box in the X square (look at the toolbar to see which tool to use, i cant remember the name) then look at the Y square which should show your "floor" as a small line stright across if you make the floor on the Y angle in a large box going up you can control how large this peice of floor is (or make it into a wall) making doors and having triggers can be rather hard as well as light sources
there is a tutorial bout it for halflife but i forgot the website
