But I do feel that there is interest, LOTS of interest. What we will probably need to do in order to find people with those types of skills though, is go out there, to other places on the internet, and say "hey, you know Zelda 64? Well there is an online game a lot like it, and we really need people to help us out!" I feel confident that many people playing quake, half-life, etc, that are into doing 3D mods for said games will want to come and work on Graal 3D. There aren't many people doing things with 2D these days, everyone doing 3D stuff is already out there working on their 3D stuff, but if we tell them about Graal 3D then we can recruit some talent, I'm sure of it.
Not to mention, todays Graal 2D scripters/artists are tomorrows Graal 3D scripters/artists. It's a progression thing.
Only time will really tell what really happens I guess

I should also point out that some of the maths skills that would be needed are pretty advanced and above what most Graalians have reached up to now. The vector manipulations and suchlike are pretty danged complicated. Even expert Graal 2D scripters may have problems in the conversions simply because 3D is so much more demanding. |
