hyperbolic sine: sinh(u) = .5 * (eu - e-u)
hyperbolic tangent: tanh(u) = sinh(u) / cosh(u)
hyperbolic cotangent: coth(u) = cosh(u) / sinh(u)
hyperbolic secant: sech(u) = 1 / cosh(u)

ive never even heard of sinh, tanh, and coth
i've heard of cosh, i saw it when my class went to the Arch (Saint louis?) and it showed the formula they used to make it
