Well, here is an example:
I am walking to the arena near bomboria, I pass by a few bomy monsters. When I arrive at the arena, I hear the bomy clicking LOUDLY as if they are right there.
I figure you should only hear them if they are on your screen... When I walk along paths or I'm in towns, yet I see no bomy monsters, I hear them loud and clear, and sometimes there are multiples of them so I hear dozens of loud clicking noises at the same time. When I'm not in a good mood, the noise pisses me off so much that I just turn my sound off.
It can really get aggravating sometimes.
