I for one think the whole poll thing worked like a good old American election: only people who were well-known had a chance to win, duh. Some people who might have won didn't try. They didn't want to, duh. Promises might have been made (I didn't see any) but what election doesn't have payoffs, duh? In short, I agree with Konidias and the rest... I don't see any problem with the way it was done.
