On the contrary, it would automate balance. Say the Dustari put in a system by which you can easily gain a hundred Dustari Soverigns by guessing the name of the king. If a Dustari coin has a fixed value, that screws over the ENTIRE economy - go to Dustariland, guess a million times, then you're set for life. If it has a variable value, it only screws over the Dustari economy - you have 100 million Soverigns, but it's only worth one gold in REAL money, because EVERYONE has 100 million soverigns. Want to raise the value? Decrease the supply. Tax everyone for 10%, then the soverign's worth more because they're less common. |
