But, next to the katana, the wakizashi and nodachi are the most well known japanese swords! I was referring to the No-Tachi. <:P
Oh, my answer to the question of what weapon would combine best with unarmed fighting would be a little getup from the 20th century that I believe was called the "apache pistol." A tiny combination of a knuckle duster, a shank, and a revolver!
