Too bad it's a joke; this seemed like...well, to steal Neonight's word...a neatoleato idea.
If you ever actually want to do this, the trick'd be to have enough content in Nebraska and Australia. But if you had a realistic interpretation of New York, Washington, and London, maybe Denver, Omaha, Chicago, Los Angeles, Tokyo...a lot of the rest of the towns could be generalized with a population, name of the town, and a bunch of houses. Lots of topographical maps, yum.
The scripts would be rather simple, and internal consistency wouldn't be too tricky. Simply put, the laws of terrestrial physics apply and if it isn't possible in real life it can't be done. Lots of trains and planes, subways in the bigger cities. Cars for Christ's sake, CARS! And I don't mean go-karts, I mean take a fifteen-passenger van down I-80.
I would be more than willing to help on the script end of things, should this ever come to fruition. |
