I say we need no more magic than is necessary to make our medium (graal) work. Unstuck me can be a spell, and healing can be one. Magi are hard in Graal; they'd get lots of NPCWs nobody else would get. So maybe a few small RP-only spells for the learned; unstuck me remains for everyone.
My idea in brief: Give any character who can get to the books the ability to study small spells, everyone who doesn't want to maybe skip a battle or two to read has to get by with unstuck. Dissolve the magi. Transfer them to civil service, military, or maybe even clergy. |
