I assure you they aren't stolen. Its funny how when people show some nice things people assume they are stolen, at least people who are working on a similar project.
As for the chests, I made them VERY quickly (talking a minute - 2 minutes) in PSP because I needed some gfx to work with in scripting them.
BTW I posted a Weekly Screenshot on Shadow Knights forums, for those who care =).
