On the day Guy was born, a war with Dustari had started. His mother was a poor farmwomen, who's husband went off to fight the war. They did not want to fight, the greedy king sent the poor to fight or be killed for "treason"
Dustari eventually won, and took over the land. His mother died in exhaustion trying to get him to a new free land. A dustarian Squire took him to the castle, and he was given as an orphan to a woman in the village who wanted a child.
Guy has no memory of these incidents. He has been told he is part of a long line of warriors, who died nobilly(sp?) in battle. He grew up through school normally, and became a squire at the age of 13. He trained as any other squire, although he became quite bored at this lifestyle. Because he was not a blood dustarian, this seemed boring to him.
Guy became a mage at 14.
He was interested in Magic and what it could do. He trains to become a Dustarian Earth Mage as high mages have prophecized that he is strongest in that element.
To this day, Guy continues to study.
