When Tybalt was but six years old, he was an orphan child in the Samurai kingdom. He was homeless, and begged and stole what he needed to eat. One day he was caught as he snatched up an apple from a merchant's stand and the guards chased him out of Santerrain, threatening to kill him if he ever came back. Tybalt wandered for four days without food, drinking the water of the river he walked along. On the fifth day of wandering, Tybalt spotted a tree hidden amongst the brush. The tree had ripe red berries. Tybalt walked over to the tree and ate a berry. He immediately realized it was poisonus as he felt faint and his vision blurred. All of a sudden a net fell over him and he was carried high into the trees. Where he was now, was none other than the legendary treetop city of Hananoki. They gave him a special antidote they had perfected over the years and nursed Tybalt back into health. There they taught him their ways and how to fight, and fed him until he was 16, when he built a house of his own in their city. Tybalt grew to be best friends with Tuma, the son of the king of Hananoki. Tuma and the rest of the young men spent their days eating, fighting, doing odd jobs and the like. They lived blissful life of freedom. Then, when Tybalt was 21 years old, The Dustari were at war with the Samurai. The Dustari came marching towards the Samurai castle, carelessly holding their torches high, even throwing them, to burn the Samurai's forests. But they weren't only the Samurai's forests. Hananoki was ablaze. Tybalt rushed to his house to grab a flask of ale, some apples and a bo, then went to find Tuma. Tuma was near the King's palace and Tybalt yelled for him to follow. They ran, leaping from tree to tree, slowly making their way to the bottom of the forest. Things were burning all around them. Burnt trees were falling inches from their heads. When they got to the bottom of the forest they ran North. To their surprise they came upon a desert. A huge, sweeping desert. They set up a small camp at the edge of the burnt forest, using the wood they found to built a small house and keep a fire going. Within two days two other Hananoki found them. Benvolio, Worunatto. They kept their camp for two more days until a fearsome man appeared in front of them. The man was Sisok. He knew the ways of theft, and the ways of survival. Sisok joined them. They dubbed themselves the Dry Wind Troupe, or Karakaze Troupe because of the desert winds in their camp. Sisok also brought many goods for the Troupe, such as instruments and tools. The Troupe headed south six months later and found an abandoned house in Santerrain. The house was the house of TrueHeaT, the Samurai emperor who suddenly left on a boat three months ago. The Troupe put a new lock on and kept it as their own and using it as a place to store money and other goods they aquired.
