Well here is my view on the matter:
It isn't the level requirement that is hurting the pw's, it's the reviewing. Obviously we have yet to have a GREAT pw to use as an example of what a great pw should be. The requirement is there so that pw's are big and not 20 levels because it's just an essential thing to have more than enough space for the players.
However, you say most of the levels are put together crappily, well whose job is it to check for that? Playerworld administration right? Just because the pw has 200 levels does not mean it has passed. Playerworlds get turned down all the time and they might have 200+ levels. The pw's online now are mostly hideous I agree, but this is because they got up before lots of rules were put in place, when Stefan would put them online without reviewing it or something, or that they have completely taken down their original pw and replaced it with a new one that is still UC (I DONT THINK THIS SHOULD BE ALLOWED) >=/ |
