Actually, my original point was we lose skilled players who keep free GraalOnline up. The people who make the systems, scripts, levels and graphics that make people WANT to pay for playing Graal. Weedkiller kills flowers too.
Yes, I do have $15. In fact I have more and am perfectly willing to spend this on a Graal subscription. Unfortunately the fact that I'm not American removes the possibility of a 1-800 (ever heard of "long distance call charges"?), and the fact that I do not possess a credit card removes the possibility of PayPal. Thus I cannot upgrade. Swell, huh? (I've sent an email off to Graal asking if they have other methods of payment, such as cash or international money order. If they do then I will upgrade.)
I appreciate perfectly that Graal needs money to keep it running. However, wouldn't a sort of "teaser" function, where you can play each p2p server for, say, a few minutes a day to see what you think, be better? Showing people what they get for their money before they make a commitment?
