Maybe stefan should add an 'away' or 'busy' message for PMs. So when someone PMs you it will send them a message back or show your status.

If I had an away tag on, and someone got auto-PMed back saying "I am currently away." when they were PMing me someting überimportant, I'd sure as hell be mad.
Otherwise, I agree. You shouldn't need a LAT tag on to work.
