Erm no it wouldn't savelog is a server side command, so would be done by NPCs already running on the server meaning it would take up no bandwidth what so ever only a small part of the server's proccessor (about 0.0001 seconds to write to a txt file) which im pretty sure Unixmad's servers could handle. If savelog2 was added the time to read a sign would not change at all.

Its not what he was saying.. he said that it should be:
savelog -hat: #v(hat) at [#v(dropx),#v(dropy)] in #L from #a;
You can say what it will save...
So there is a connecting Server-player...
