I used levelgen to make the outline of Oasis.. but I just used green for land and darkblue for deep water.. just to make outlines for my land and stuff, so I have something to go by.
Levelgen is there for a reason.. to generate levels.. I for one don't think it should be used to add your trees, and smaller details in, because they come out glitchy or ugly and not natural.
For making the basic outline of your land though, it's a time saver. I'm going through the levels and making the forests, rivers, and mountains by hand.
I would have to agree here though, the forests and paths there look way too rounded and smooth and not scattered and natural looking. I should make a guide to creating good worlds.
