I think a lot of people here just have high scores because of their post counts.. which makes no sense because it seemed everyone was competing over post counts anyway.. what is the use of this? To have more numbers to compete over the same thing?
Now you're going to have people spamming even more to get good stats.

Well the Max MP seems to be both related to level and join time, though I do agree, having experience rise due to the number of non-quoted character would be a rather efficient way.
Though I'm afraid we'd get gigantic spam messages then instead.
