What about having ways to set traps? It would be a way to make the event more strategic. Even making little walls would be neat because you could block others from getting to you for a moment.
There could be new weapons or something.. maybe get rid of being able to use nukes and arrows and stuff and just have survivor weapons like nets.
I think the island should be redesigned and made a bit smaller... there should be places you can go to try and camp but that you get cornered in.. there shouldn't be anywhere that you can just run around something and avoid ever coming in contact with anyone.

That would be cool. Maybe even have a timed thing so that 10 minutes into survivor, everyone is warped back to the mat, and a section of the island is closed off. Then is gets smaller, and smaller, until finnaly...it's an all out spar!
