Pay-to-play servers will never die. It gathers in Stefan's money to pay Unimaxid for the sites and other stuff. It makes the money so if Stefan loses one of his programming install discs and has to reformat he can go out and buy some. The money brings him back to Graal to improve it, also so does the fun. ;D Simply pay-to-play will not die because to much stuff is "tied" into the pay-to-play servers. Stefan you should do what I stated in a previous post. Make one time trialed server that's non pay-to-play, they have oh say 30 days to "try it out". Then they have an option to get an upgraded account. The rest of the servers should be pay-to-play. I mean, hell, it doesn't cost that much. Everyone who plays Graal has a computer, so you can't say "Oh I'm to poor to get an upgraded account.". Even though this is my opinion (and a few others so it seems), I like to play Graal, I bought a pay-to-play account. Which other games do you know that is as "cheap" as Graal to play? R@gn@rok Online will be going pay-to-play (I think it'll be something like $150 a year). So you can't say that you can play that for free.
