Well, the best thing to do right now is make an rpg server and start off early, such as mideval, then gradually work your way up to the present... Or it can be a Fantasy server such as Final Fantasty and Chrono Trigger (The one with the talking frog)
This will allow it to grow and to be based on a plot, then making diffrent sub-plots and quests withen the story... Such as my server
