The reason money doesnt work well on G2k1 is becuase it is too hard to get, it has no real value, and theres really nothing interesting about it, but if everything had value it could work,
for instance maybe the Samurai were the only people who could produce the Naganita, they could make alot and arm their army with it, but they could only give a few out too the public, so it would be rare and expensive, and with Kingdoms and kingdom treasuries, you could get paid so you wouldnt have to smash a zillion buttons for 3 gralat, now the averagenon rping graalian living in bomboria or whatever, hey if they wanna be regular civilians with jobs, then hey if it pleases them, but making money has to be more efficient... and as I said, soldiers and stuff culd get payed, becuase fighting for the kingdom is work!
anyway also money should be backed, for instance some kingdoms could use there own unit of money or whatever, and have it all backed by stuff with real value, like the Samurai could harvest rice, and depending on the amount of rice they could issue money, so with the standard lets say one unit could be worth a pint of rice, so when the kingdom makes all this money they will say oh well we have such and such pints of rice in the store room, so now we will issue such and such amounts of units, so now the money has a real value, becuase rather then an infinate amount of little slips that mean nothing, they are trading a slip tha represents an amount of rice, and when you go and uy rice at a store you will say I want one pint of rice,
then you would have rice and they would have a slip of paper that they could by stuff with, but on G2k1 there is an infinite amount of money, and the the making money is inefficient, therefore it doesnt work, and theres super inflation |
