Money wont be used for everything like it is on 2001... it will just be a standard.
When you buy something at a market stand, its just SO much easier to pay with coins or gralat then it is to pay with the requested item.
And as Kamuii said, how will kingdom leaders tax their followers? Everyone will see their items as having different values. A currency solves all of these problems. |
