You don't need the script unless you could make it yourself.

That may sound bad, and you're probably thinking, "How will I ever learn if I never look at any scripts?" Think about it though. Pretty much anything you could want to make can be done using basic NPC scripting commands. These kinds of scripts won't necessarily be short or run efficiently, but they can be made.

That's when you ask for a script, after you've thought about how to make it, tried to make it, and succeeded or failed (and if you failed, asked someone for help).
