I'll help you out a bit.

If you're going to name it "Disturbed Canyon", you'd better make the map with a huge canyon or something. Or make the whole map a canyon. Anyway, it'd be best if you modify the tileset a bit, to fit your canyon-type needs.

Have the terrain fit the canyon. Life, plants, weather, etc.
